Announcing SolidWorks Inspection by SOLIDWORKS
SolidWorks Inspection is a First Article Inspection (FAI) and in-process inspection software that greatly simplifies and automates the creation process of ballooned inspection drawings and inspection reports (AS9102, PPAP, etc…). SolidWorks Inspection consists of a stand-alone application and a SolidWorks add-in that enables users to leverage their legacy data regardless of whether they are SolidWorks files, PDFs or TIFFs. SolidWorks Inspection Professional extends SolidWorks Inspection capabilities by giving you multiple ways to enter measured values directly into an inspection project.

Which Animator Should You Use? by Cali McMillian

The conclusion was that it really depends on what you are looking to accomplish. There are tools in SolidWorks which are not available in Composer and vice versa. If you would like to review this topic in a more visual manner visit the SolidWorks World 2013 archive to download the fully animated PowerPoint presentation.

The Right Tool for the Job by Chris MacBain

The inspiration to take time out of the presentation writing to create this post comes from having a type of epiphany. My presentation is on the trend in all sectors of business to bring manufacturing back to domestic workers. I was inspired to present on this topic after reading an article in The Atlantic titled, The Insourcing Boom. Now, I am not one for jargon or buzz words, but this one struck me. Insourcing.
